3D Soccer

3D-Soccer is a massive multiplayer soccer game.

Unlike CD-ROM soccer games, players experience the game from a first person perspective.

3D-Soccer was chosen by Intel as a showcase site for Pentium III processors
(but it will run on slower machines).

Radiosity lighting in the locker room. Not spectacular today but that was 1998 in a free game:

Player can run through the tunnel into the stadium.

Billboard works and has a complete alpha-numerical 'bulb' font:

Players are 550 triangles. They are jointed.

v1.5 introduced flying toilet paper, ...

... a moving crowd that could do 'La Ola' waves, and a working cameraman. The
camera image was real time and would display periodically at the billboard.

The multi-player server is currently down. You can still enter the world but you'll be
alone and the ball won't move.

You'll need these plug-ins:

Download Viscape   Download Paraworld
